YOU_SPIN_ME_ROUND

[Celebs Who Matter News]

The autobiography of tough-&-tumble transmorph Pete Burns is out soon!

No, Sir ... I don't like the cover photo ...

His makeup is harsh & unflattering (think Jackie Stallone).

If he's gonna look like crap on the cover of his own book, it might as well be honest & funny ... so I made my own cover.

Spin me round!

Says it all, I think!

:-)

Note: This is funnier if you've been watching CELEBRITY BIG BROTHER ...

UNLIMITED FREE BEER !!!

[Atlanta - 18 February 2006]

The Sweetwater Brewery hosted a party yesterday for the companies & employees that sell their beer.

Saucy!

Fox Theatre employees had the privilege of unlimited free beer! The other folks there were limited to four beers.

Sauced!

In addition to a tour of the brewery, we all tasted each of the brews (year-round and seasonal).

On tour ...

I prefer the Sweetwater Blue ...

My Puddin' & Me!

It's fair to say that a spectacular time was had by all ...

Sun & beer!

The venue there at the brewery is fabulous! I'd go there again just to hang out and drink beer.

Most of my photos came out great! I look forward to seeing the others' snaps ...

Don't hate Miss Stacy 'cos she's beautiful!

The festivities continued at Las Margaritas, where some folks ate while others continued to drink. I settled for iced tea and chips & guacamole.

Grazing.

We're so fabulous!

You can also download any of the 25 photos (in various sizes) here.

Enjoy the madness!

For me, it's just BUNNY DAY.

[ATLANTA - Oestre 2006]

Jesus schmeezus ... it's Easter Sunday!

One does wonder how few people are aware of the origins of Easter's traditions & symbolism.

Easter embodies many pre-Christian traditions. The name is a derivation of Oestre, the Anglo-Saxon name of a Teutonic goddess of spring and fertility, to whom was dedicated a month corresponding to April. Her festival was celebrated on the day of the vernal equinox.

Worship me ... for I am your Bunny!

Traditions associated with the festival survive in the Easter rabbit (a symbol of fertility) and in coloured easter eggs (originally painted with bright colours to represent the sunlight of spring).

Christianity did not destroy paganism ... it adopted pagan traditions & symbolism.

HAPPY BUNNY DAY !!!

Take a moment to remember those bunnies less fortunate ... particularly Mr Chunky Buns here ...

BIG GAY OUT ... with bunnies!

[Atlanta USA - 03 March 2006]

Today was a beautiful day ... peek-a-boo sun with a mild breeze ... about 17 or 18c ... fabulous!

I was out & about round Ansley Mall ... popped into the Gay 'Bucks (Starbucks) for a mocha mint frappuccino, as you do.

After a prolonged wait, I had a fab haircut! Yes, I shaved the sides but kept quite a bit on the top.

I deposited my wee paycheque ... a pitiful $150.00, due to my week off.

CVS gave me three tablets of Atenolol till I can get a new prescription. Still not sure what I'm gonna do. I guess I'll go to GRADY ('orrible public hospital) tomorrow. Phooey.

Got some more Pre de Provence 100% vegetable soap ... one eucalyptus and one peppermint. Why do the French insist on making fabulous 100% vegetarian soap but are infamous for being one of the most vegetarian-unfriendly countries on Earth? One can wash ethically ... just not eat!

I had dinner alone at the cafeteria ... cabbage, mac-n-cheese and a salad ... it suits a bunny!

After that, I wondered round and perused the Easter bollocks that are all about the shops. 'Tis a great time to invest in bunny tat, of course!

I wandered into the pet shop ... which I sometimes avoid, as those shops can be depressing ... but I discovered some very happy baby bunnies! They were so curious and responsive ... only three weeks old but seemed so clever & worldly wise to us human lot!

Leaving the bunnies behind, I carried on to the market. Sadly, I can no longer find crumpets but I put in a special order! I did get a few bits & bobs ... the usual ... lettuce, more greens, 12-grain bread, fakin' steak, Wet Ones ... I even got a bar of 62% cacao Scharffen Berger chocolate! Yummers.

I did not find a new bunny plushie today, as I'd hoped. I must have looked at three dozen in the various shops but could not find the perfect bunny to suit me ... it's gotta be cute & huggable but not tatty or tacky. I'll find me a new bunny yet!

:-)
